Welcome
to the Furnace Bay Rods Pro Shop Team Trail. Our goal is
to provide a light-hearted, enjoyable series of bass tournaments
close to home.
Anyone may join; however, you must be 18 years of age or
older to operate a boat. We will be paying out 80% of all
entry fees. There will be a GUARANTEED $1000 cash payout
for first place for 30 registered boats. 1st Place will
increase as registration increases. Payout is based on a
scale kept by Sandy Uhler and will deepen as registration
increases. Two lunkers will be paid for field of 30 or more
boats. You must be a member to fish the trail but our OPEN
Tournaments are a public event. Rules and entry blanks are
on the web page for download. Entries should be recieved
by the Saturday before the tournament. We encourage new
teams to join during the year and have allowed sign up and
payments at the ramp. This has cuased some controversy so
we may not be able to accept memberships or entries at the
ramp. However, new teams would be encouraged to call Sandy
the Saturday before the tournament and express an interest
to fish and a cash payment may be acceptable
at the ramp the next day if arrangements can not be made
before. Entry fee for 2005 is $130 per team and $20
for Lunker. To fish the Championship you must have participated
in at least two of the scheduled tournaments. A "Team
Champion" and a "Team Points Championship"
plaques will be presented to the team with the most points
for the season and the winners of the Championship in October.
No trophies will be awarded at the monthly tournaments since
we wish to put that cash into the pot..
